And the winners are…

Entries and voting for the Kilat! Flash Fiction Challenge closed on Friday, 24 September. The Kilat! Team has reviewed the voting, confirmed the popular vote finalists and selected the 2 Grand Prize winners. The Festival is amazed and delighted by the response we have had.  What we expected would be a small but fun project turned into an extraordinary vibrant and exciting one.  We were overwhelmed by the entries and enthusiasm of the people from all over the world who entered.

We are also struck by the fact that there are so many talented Indonesian writers out there, producing work of such a high quality.

We will be back, bigger and better, and maybe even shorter, in 2011.  We’ve learnt a lot this year, and thank everyone who has sent in suggestions of how we could improve the competition.
